Nickle and Dime

Ate lunch at The Nickle and Dime Diner down at the end of Garrison Ave., at the Ferris Wheel park. My old buddy Austin Cole owns the diner and I’ve been meaning to get down there. There’s just a few items on the menu, since it’s a small traincar kitchen, and we had the burger.

It’s not just sandwiches!

The burger was really good and a great deal for six bucks. They serve them with chips, which out of a bag never excite me, but these were home made fried chips with seasoning, and they were really good.

Considering the importance of non bar or gambling-related venues for food and entertainment in Fort Smith, it’s a must-try in a unique setting.
