Justin: In the Feast of Being Able to. Amen.

Would you like to talk about it?

They had me take a survey. Then a week later, when I was supposed to have forgotten how I answered, they had me take a longer version with many of the same questions mixed in.

Sales Research Group sent my “Talent Profiler Report” elaborating on my strengths. For my professional development, of course. Despite the aggravating questions asked, which could have been answered antithetically with equal vigor, I feel it did a decent job.

Here’s the top 7 pulled from my evaluation. Aside each is the definition, as I see it applied to me.

Anecdotal – You got some story for everything, don’t ya?
Reliable – You’re pretty predictable, you know it?
Coach – Know it all.
Creative – Unlimited imagination for avoiding boring work.
Direct – Get your foot outta your mouth, k?
Emotionally Responsive – Yea, chicks dig that. NOT.
Conviction – You’re absolutely certain about being wrong?

I have had fun today telling people at work, “Hey, if you need to talk about it, I’m emotionally responsive.”

I hope the company defines these differently. Nobody call them.

  • Thought I should share some of mine:

Historical: Your work will be famous…1000 years after you die.

Reliable: You can always be counted on to screw everything up.

Recognition: People recognize your foul stench when they are brought on board.

Conviction: It was reduced to a misdemeanor.

Concentration: You stay focused on the tas……hahahaha LoLcats!!!!

Intuitive: Your stupidity makes it easy for others to realize you are a dufus.

Prospective: You look to the future…like, 5 P.M. I’m off work, WOOHOO!!!

  • ROFL awesome.
