Post Office Quality

So after the previous post, a friend told me the main post office on Rogers Ave. recently removed their weighing scales. There was a convenient little station outside the desk area doors where you could package and weigh your items. You could then move into the line or go ahead and get stamps from the machines and drop your parcel through a slot.

Now… you can just stand there in an even longer and more innefficient line to get that quality government worker service we’ve all come to know and love. That’s if you manage to make it before they close. If you go after hours, like surely hundreds of people per night do, you not only can’t buy stamps, but if you already have some, you can’t weigh something to see if you need to place extra postage on it.

Why did they remove the scales?

“There were some kids vandalizing it in the middle of the night. It was just too much trouble. You’ll just have to bring your items to the desk now. NEEXXTT.”
